I don't like using outlook/windows live. Is there a gmail program that can import hotmail accounts?
If there are no gmail options, is there another program with the same features as outlook/live?

I've been using Thunderbird for quite a while. It's easy to use. Plus, you can use it to check your Hotmail/Live email as well as GMail. I've been using it to check Yahoo! mail and GMail for a couple of years now. You simply need to get the WebMail add-on for Thunderbird and configure it.
