Deleting Gmail Account?

I just switched from gmail to yahoo, but i dont know how to delete my gmail account. Anyone know?

but before you do it, perhaps you should consider having gmail forward to the new yahoo account. that way you won't miss any emails from people who use your old address.


i can't figure out why you'd want to use yahoo instead of gmail. i think gmail is much better.

Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page.


Click Accounts in the Settings menu bar.


Click Google Account settings.


Click the Edit link next to 'My products.'


Click Delete Gmail Service and fill in the required fields.
