Gmail question. It's driving me crazy!!?

I have a gmail account. How do you do a forward to people? Once you click on the forward you have to addresses how do you bring up your address book to add the addresses? I can't seem to do this and sometimes I have to add loads of people and the only way I can do it is go through the alphabet so i don't miss anyone.

Please HELP!

Gmail question. It's driving me crazy!!?
When you have loads of email addresses, it's usually better to add them to a group, and then you can forward your email to the group, and it will be forwarded to everyone in the group. Here's how:

To create a group for list mailing from existing contacts in Gmail:

* Select Contacts from the left side navigation bar in Gmail.

* Check all the contacts you want to add to the new list.

* Click the Add to group ... drop-down menu.

* Select New group ... from the menu.

(Or, to add the selected contacts to an existing group, select it instead.)

* Type the name by which you want the new address book group to go.

* Click OK.

Then when you have your email that you want to forward, click "Add Bcc" and type the name of the desired group in the Bcc: field.

You can read up on forwarding and Gmail groups here:

Reply:Just start typing people's email addresses in the To box in the Forward area.

It will load up your contacts starting with that letter.

If you want to be able to have an address book type thing, you could suggest it as a feature to the GMail Team by visiting this link:

To get to the Suggest A Feature page, click Help in the top right corner in GMail and it's on the right about half way down!

Good luck and I hope this helps!
Reply:just type the name of the person in the address box. gmail auntomatically brings up people with similar names. click on the one you want. keep doing this until you've added all the email address you want. gmail is simple and effective to use. i don't see how you didn't figure this out for yourself.
