Disable the popup blocker and the anti spam thing at the bottom. Then it should work.
I installed IE7. But now when I go to gmail.com the chat window doesnt work?
It should work even in IE7, did your firewall settings change? Gmail itself for me doesnt work on IE some times. It craps out with an error. Do you have any other browser? like FireFox? I would suggest you install it, just in case. Try to login using firefox. If Firefox works and IE7 doesnt then you can try to reinstall IE7. Otherwise its the settings on your computer.
