How can i give sender's ip in gmail?
hi

open your Gmail

to show the complete headers

clock on the inverted triangle you find besides the 'reply' option

select 'show original'

look for 'received': from the following IP address and you will find the IP between the square brackets [...]

look for X-originating IP

then go here to find out the location of the sender

--%26gt;if the person uses a dynamic IP .. the IP you will find will not help you

Reply:Well, there are two things you need to know before you do this. One: Is this a GMail user? If so, you will not be able to retrieve their IP address. GMail does not give out IP address. And another thing, there isn't much you can do with an IP since most internet providers normally renew IP addresses every few hours or ever time the computer is restarted.

To see if you can get the IP, click on the message and click the small arrow next to Reply, then click Show Original. Afetr that, you will see a line that says Received: and then at the end of that line, there will be a set of numbers. If you want a little more information about what these numbers mean, you might want to check out http://www.ip-address.com/
