Just because he knows your login ID doesn't mean he can get your password. If he tried the "forgot password" they would ask a security question. If he/she knows the answer to the question.....then you would be compromised. But think about this, anyone who knows your email address knows your login so according to some of the other answers, wouldn't your password always be compromised. I think not.

Use a password that is easy to remember, not a dictionary word, not a birthdate, etc. The more characters the better.


A password like AL2jBfxbs wont be easy to crack. Use parts of your name or initials - part of your zip code -- part of your last name (only a couple of letters) make it something you can remember but mixed up.. you can even use a sentance to make a password.

Anytime you think your password is compromised, change the password immediately. Use strong passwords, more than 8 characters in lenght and use alpha, numberic and special characters in your password.
