My Sisters GMail account has been hacked!?

This has been done professionally. THey are after Her Social Security Number and persanol info. What do we do to stop them....how does she termanate her gmail account?????

Just tell her to change her password, make it something long and something that would not be easy to figure out.

Reply:If you have any proof that her account really was hacked, you should contact google, and tell them where the weakness in there system is.





If some one just guessed her password it's her own fault for not changing it often enough, and not using a strong password.

If you decide that you don't need your Gmail account anymore, and


you're sure you won't want your username in the future, you can simply


close the account. Here's how:


Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page that you wish to close.


Open the Accounts tab.


Click Google Account settings.


Click Edit next to My services on the right side.


Click Delete Gmail Service.


Once you close your Gmail account, you can't reactivate it, and you


won't be able to retrieve any messages.
